Love Me Tender XXXXX

INTRODUCING
                    " ELVIS "
             LOVE ME TENDER"

I finished making my Elvis on the 19th March, 2016.
I modified Vlad the vampire bat , by Lydia Tresselt. available from RAVELRY

I wanted to make Elvis, for quite a while now, and I wondered if I could modify Vlad  into Elvis ??
OF COURSE I COULD...!!!!
I used the original pattern, and only made one cape, and I didn't need to make him Ears...lol...

Everything you see, I have made,

His Belt, I crocheted the Band, and I then added all of the Gems and chains.......

AND FINALLY......

Elvis would not be complete, without his Guitar.........!!!!!!!!!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my Hand made Elvis..........
Thank you for taking the time to have a look into my crochet world......!!!!

BUSY, BUSY BUSY....!!!!!!!!

I know I've been absent from here, for quite a while ....  I have been rather busy, well I am a Crochetholic..!!!
SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO,     I SHALL BEGIN..!!!!

Bina The Bear
I actually finished this Bina , in January 14th, 2016, the yarn was bought for me, by my hubby for Christmas....bless him he feeds my addiction !!,
I thought I would keep this one simple, and just follow Laylala's Original pattern, Bina the Bear...
oh I did add a different scarf, but I promise that's all I did....
As I said, this beautiful yarn, was given to me, and it's called ADRIAFIL DUO PLUS COMFORT... it's not a cheap yarn, but I did enjoy working with it.

February 2016   SHELL BLANKET
This is another Project, that I must start by saying, " it should have been a King Size Afghan", however, I decided to re-decorate my bedroom, and this colour, would't of worked. So I decided to turn it, into a Babies Blanket....
I used Marriner Special Dk, Yarn. in White and Pale Rose.
This Shell design, is a FREE PATTERN, By MYpicot, available on Ravelry.com

February 14th 2016   GOBI The Camel

This is a HeidiBears Design, and I think this is an adorable pattern...
By using Hexagons, Pentagons and other very cleverly made and placed shapes, she has designed some absolutely, stunning designs.
I used Patons, DK Smoothie Yarn, which I must admit, I do split down, because I like to use a 1.75mm hook... I really would recommend her patterns to you all, even if your new to crocheting, she has some brilliant Tutorials, and her patterns are so well illustrated, any one can understand them.. I promise you, Well worth a look..!!!

I made the Extra jewellery and her Tiara, and of course her Top..... I also gave her an extra fin, on her Tail.

I have Modified This Pattern to.. The original Pattern By : Lalylala, is Paul The Toadstool....
as you can see, iv'e given her a floppy hat, and flowers on her waist......
I used Patons, DK Smoothie, yarn, which as you can probably guess by now, is my all time favourite yarn to use, along with marriner's yarns, both are fantastic, for this kind of projects.
She is so in love with Paul, the toadstool, she's blushing....

Any ways, this might have to be put on hold, for the time being, but not forgotten......

MAXIMUS THE BULLDOG

Saturday 8th August 2015

Sorry i have not been updating my post much...
I have been rather busy.

Over the past few weeks, I have been making my Modified Lalylala Dolls. The last one made was my Ice Cream Doll....
I was truly very happy when Lydia Tresselt, the Designer actually sent me a lovely Email, expressing how much she loves my modified versions of her Dolls.

As you can imagine, this has definitely made me so happy, I am truly Greatful for any FeedBacks I might receive.
So once I'd finished that Doll, I started another one, but I shall keep this one a secret abit longer, only because I had to put it aside so that I could make my next HeidiBears project...!!!

For quite a while now I've been wanting to make another BullDog, 🐾🐾  IN ARON Wool....
So I did...!!! Haha hehe...
The Motifs for this Project were of course a lot bigger than the normal size I have made in the past.

I used a 3.0mm Crochet Hook, which is a lot bigger than my favourite hook size (1.75mm).
Using this size hook and the Aron wool, was a lot more challenging than I thought.
My hands and Wrists hurt more than I thought they would, but like a hero...I battled on, through pain and tiredness, I created a Dog that I've always wanted to make.

He measures...20"inches Long and 13 1/2"inches Tall.
I haven't weighed him, I don't want to give him a complex...   hahaha hehehe...!!!
The colours used are Cream and a Brown fleck.

Both are Aron Yarns, even though the brown fleck yarn was slightly thinner in feel than the cream yarn was.

He now joins the ever growing family of Crocheted Creations...

Watch Out, There's A BAT About..!!!

7th August 2015

Here I am again.......
Yes I've just finished my latest Doll....
VLAD THE BAT.....!!!! ➰➰➰

He stands 11"tall, and is made with The women's institutes soft and silky yarn.
Available from HobbyCraft.. ( Newton Abbot, Devon ).

Colours are... Mainly Blue, and the inside of his wings are Purple,               edged with a mixture yarn of blue, purple and pink...

I've enjoyed making this one, the only thing I got Abit confused with, purely because they were Tricky, was the Ears...in my opinion they should have been a bit smaller in size....

I'm not sure what or which one I'm making next !!! But the list is definitely getting a lot longer !!!

I would just like to thank [ JenniferWangBears.com ].
Her E - Mails are always a joy to read and she gives me such brilliant ideas for my Modified Dolls.

As per usual all original patterns are by : Lydia Tresselt.
                   Lalylala.com. Through Ravelry.com..
